About Remedy Internships
Our summer internship program offers you the opportunity to gain experience working in a high-energy, startup environment and help to solve one of the most important national challenges – transforming healthcare..
We treat our interns like full time employees. You’ll be given individual tasks and projects and will work alongside Remedy employees on a daily basis.
You’re also expected to learn about our company, and the evolution of American healthcare. We offer numerous chances for you to engage with Remedy leadership and experts to better understand Remedy’s mission.
Think of our internship program as a summer-long interview. At the end of the program, interns will be considered for full time positions starting in May 2018.
Are There Any Special Programs for Interns?
We’ve designed individual and group experiences to enhance your internship experience. These include:
Lunch & Learn
Every week, a member of Remedy’s senior leadership will lead an hour-long discussion on a topic related to healthcare. This is a great opportunity to learn and talk with individuals who have 20+ years experience working in our industry.
Social Responsibility
Spending the summer at Remedy means giving back. Remedy will set up a Community Service Day for our interns to go into the local community and volunteer for the day.
Buddy Program
Each intern receives a Buddy for the summer. This person is a Remedy employee who can provide insight and firsthand knowledge of what a day in the life of Remedy entails.
Feedback
All interns are given the opportunity to present their internship experience to Remedy senior management, including members of our executive team.
What Will I Be Doing?
Your Work
We offer internships in a many different departments. No matter where you are placed, you will work on day-to-day tasks, as well as on an individual project. You will be able to work independently and utilize Remedy employees as resources to complete your project.
Feedback
We want to make sure your work is acknowledged. Every week, you’ll meet with your manager one-on-one to discuss your performance. Additionally, you will present an overview of your intern experience to Remedy leadership at the end of the summer.
Will I Get a Job After My Internship?
All rising seniors and graduate students are eligible to be considered for a full time position in 2018. At the end of your internship, you will meet with your manager to discuss potential positions and the next steps.
